Dr. John Morkes, Co-Founder and Principal at Expero, will be joining us on the Internet Summit Design/Usability panel.
John is a recognized leading expert in content usability, collecting data, and validating requirements and UI designs with end-users through a variety of techniques. His recent clients include Intel, Ford, TiVo, Dell, Pfizer, Charles Schwab / CyberTrader, Trilogy, and Symantec / WholeSecurity.
Previously, John was director of Trilogy's Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) team and established that company’s usability program and usability lab. While at Trilogy, he led efforts to improve usability of Nissan and Ford websites, which Forrester Research rated as the two best consumer sites in the industry. He also has worked as a usability engineer for Hewlett-Packard and Sun Microsystems (with Dr. Jakob Nielsen) and as a journalist for Wired and Research & Development magazines. John is a published researcher and a frequent speaker at International user experience conferences.

Gary Milner, who serves as Global Marketing Director for Interactive Marketing for Lenovo, will be joining Internet Summit to discuss the latest in search marketing.
From SEO to online collaborations to discussing the latest in search trends, the search panel will discuss and highlight the latest best practices. Gary's role at Lenovo encompasses all of the digital marketing, including search marketing now centralized with Covario. He has driven the centralization of global interactive media acquisition and trafficking for most of the markets in which Lenovo operates. He has direct responsibility for acquiring traffic for the North American teleweb business which has grown 600 percent in revenue in the past year. Acquisition programs that he operates include affiliate marketing, PC vertical marketing, Comparison Shopping Engines, test programs such as Google TV and display advertising. Gary was awarded the first inaugural award for TV marketing excellence from the Google Corporation in 2008 and in Q4 won the Summitt Award for bleeding edge digital media measurement.

Stephen Bozzo is 1-800-FLOWERS.COM's Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, where he is responsible for all aspects of E-Commerce, IT Planning, Development, Delivery Management and Infrastructure. Prior to joining the company, he served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the International division of MetLife Insurance Company. One of the pioneers of Internet retailing, 1-800 FLOWERS.COM, which ranks number 31 on Internet Retailer's Top 500 list, recently launched the first online store on Facebook. John Kosner, who as SVP leads all of ESPN's Digital Media properties, including ESPN.com, the world’s leading online sports service; ESPN360.com, the live sports event broadband network from ESPN; and all content development for Mobile, Interactive Television, Interactive Gaming and other emerging digital media, is set to join our Internet Summit speaker line up. Kosner has overseen ESPN.com since March, 2003 – a period of tremendous growth and industry recognition for ESPN online. Kosner and his team have helped ESPN.com establish a clear leadership position on the Internet and in Mobile, pioneering online video with ESPN Motion, creating an industry-leading paid subscription service, Insider, and achieving 67% audience share among sports mobile Websites. In June 2008, Kosner was named to The Hollywood Reporter's Digital Power 50, which highlighted individuals plotting the course for content on emerging digital platforms, ranking 24th. And in October, 2008, Sports Business Journal ranked Kosner as the Most Influential person in Online Sports. Previously, Kosner, a 27-year sports media veteran, spent time with CBS Sports, the NBA and Sports Illustrated. We're excited to have John on board!

Rick is the Business Product Manager for Blogger at Google, where he leads the monetization efforts for the world's largest blogging platform. Rick joined Google as a result of its acquisition of FeedBurner, where he ran FeedBurner's publisher services team.
Rick has lent technology advice to two US Presidential campaigns, ran the campaign weblog for President Barack Obama in his 2004 Senate race, ran product strategy for and managed Google's presence at the Democratic National Convention in 2008, and is the creator of superdelegates.org, a collaborative website that profiles all of the 700+ Democratic National Committee super delegates and presents them in a Google Earth layer.
Interviews with Rick have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Newsweek, Washington Post, InfoWorld, CIO Magazine, Information Week, and dozens of others. His work has been featured on CNN, in the New York Times, on NPR, and Wired Magazine.
